Vials of deadly SARS virus 'go missing' in France

Thousand of vials of the contagious respiratory disease SARS (SARS-CoV) go missing from its high-security laboratory in France. This event is quit similar to the events that occur at Cryonordic in MONA sequel SINON.

Finally, a computer can read your mind ...

Researchers have been able to read brain activity and recreate memories using techniques similar to Mind surf, so called noninvasive "caps" (based on Brain Computer Interface technology) that reads and interprets data directly from the brain.

Before the actual test, the test subject looks at a photograph. Later, when they are connected to the system, they are asked to think hard about the memory of that image. The computer can then recreate the memory on a display. The result is not exact but nevertheless amazing. The computer reads the defacto person's memories / thoughts.


The biggest problem for researchers is that the noninvasive systems gives weak signals, a problem that Eric Söderqvist’s Nanogel would have resolved easily.

Visiting the home of Mind surf ...


In SINON, sequel to MONA, protagonist Eric Söderqvist, together with journalist Carl Öberg sneaks  into the KTH campus. The target is the research lab of Mind surf, at the top floor of the office building at Teknikringen 14.
